Range Rover Classic 3.9 V8 Vogue

Presented, is a red 1990 Range Rover Classic Vogue with an automatic 3.9L V8. It is fitted with the beige interior with the teddy bear cloth seats.

The RRC was used as a daily car up until a couple of years ago where it was taken off the road to under go various repairs and bought by the owner as a project. It has under gone extensive welding repairs which have been completed to a high standard by a professional welder/fabricator.

All repairs used either original panels and where original panels could not be found, replacement ones were made using stainless steal. The areas that have been repaired are boot floor, boot floor supports, rear cross member, rear wheel arches, rear wheel arch surround, rear inner quarter panels, inner and outer sills, body mounts, rear passenger floor and door pillars. However all the welding has not been completed, welding is still required on the front end. I suspect new inner wings will be required, but this will need to be investigated further by the new owner as i have not had chance.

The chassis and floor are solid, they have been treated with red oxide paint and fully undercoated. It has just under gone a full service where the the following was carried out. New discs and pads fitted to the rear. All new brake pipes front to rear. The engine and gearbox run very well and change nice and smoothly though the gears.

It has a brand new stainless steel centre and rear exhaust box which makes the V8 sound exceptional. The alloy wheels have also just been fully reconditioned and fitted with AT3 Discovery Cooper tyres with loads of life left in them. The body is in okay condition but does have the odd dent here and there.

The paint work is okay but would definitely benefit from a respray as it is peeling/bubbling in places as well as red oxide paint used to protect exposed areas such as on the inner wheel arches and rear tail gate. The headlining is in good condition and not sagging. It will also require a new wiper motor and a relay for the headlights as they currently stay on. But further investigation will be required just in case i have missed anything.
