I was very lucky to pick it up from them due to over-stocking of vehicles during the initial lock-down. It comes with a certificate from Land Rover above, giving the chassis number and provenance of the vehicle. This car is as it should be, completely original, in unbelievable condition as it must have been kept indoors and unused since early in its creation. 45,000 genuine miles on the clock, (74,000 in Kilometres), and body work and mechanical and interior to support this.
Although: Body work isn't perfect, could tidy up the odd patch, and tail gate has a dent which needs knocking out (not a big job, but I haven't done it as its only superficial), I try and use it at least once a fortnight or so, and it starts without issue and runs like a dream... I keep it in a sealed garage and amazingly (for a vehicle this age), there's hardly any oil or leakage on the garage floor. Very little rust to body, pillars and sills all very good condition. Under the bonnet again very good condition, images can be forwarded.
Since owning the vehicle I have had Mick Moore (specialist in Land Rovers based near Wadebridge, North Cornwall), go through it thoroughly, from the bottom up, with a full waxoyl service, all the levels and mechanics are 100%, Everything works as it should, and the interior is in great condition with only a few bits that need attention (the rear of the drivers seat could do with some stitch work around the seatbelt entry point, some tidying of carpet edges etc but generally very good). We have kept the car as original as possible, even the paint work has matured to a lovely patination of Bahama Gold, and looks wonderful, hence we daren't touch it up.The only changes I have made, and some of the work I have done include. Fit a car cd / radio stereo with iPod / iPhone connectivity, and install front speaker in the doors and a small sub-woofer on the back of the central cubby box, (discreetly).
Replaced clutch master cylinder and slave. Full service & oil & filter change & spark plugs.Comes with the original Nova import document, and now fully registered V5 Log book, and some history from Scandinavia and previous owner. Including letter from Land Rover & Certificate.
It can be MOT'd if you wish, but has recently been fully serviced and runs without fault. (Doesn't need an MOT due to age). This is an incredible RRC, that can be driven anywhere from collection. For further queries and photographs, and viewings please contact me on 07989 335824, I can forward videos, history, restoration info, and more photos of the car.
