Range Rover 2 door Classic Rolling shell with running gear Spares or Repair

This is a listing for a 1980 2 door Range Rover Classic rolling shell with original 3.5 V8 engine and LT95 4 speed transmission with overdrive. The car comes with its V5 and keys. This car has been used as a spares donor and so what you see is what you get. Essentially, a full rolling chassis, bare shell, engine (mostly complete) and transmission with overdrive.

This would all be a good starting point for a restoration project. The chassis looks rough but is covered in old waxoyl which doesn't help and we've not really been underneath. The shell is actually pretty good despite rust in the usual places. The engine and transmission are untested but I was told they were both good prior to the car being laid up some years ago. The wheels will be exchanged for a matching set as the ones on the car are all different sizes.

Whilst I endeavour to send out good usable parts, it should be understood that for most old LandRover spares, there is an element of wear and tear, dirt and grime and maybe on occasion small defects. I'll always try to reflect an accurate condition of the item in the description and mention any flaws if found.
