1994 Range Rover Classic 3.9 V8 Vogue SE Soft Dash - Fully Restored
1994 Range Rover Classic 3.9 V8 Auto Vogue SE Soft Dash. This vehicle was lovingly restored in 2017. It underwent a full body off restoration and was fully rebuilt to showroom condition. The vehicle has only covered 600 miles since the restoration.
Most of this mileage was incurred being used on 2 occasions as a wedding vehicle. The combination of a short wheelbase Classic Range Rover, 3.9 V8 serpentine engine and silky-smooth gearbox make the vehicle a pleasure to drive.Finished in its original factory Plymouth Blue the vehicle gets attention everywhere it goes. There is a full photographic record of the restoration including almost 430 photos!
The bodyshell was removed from the rolling chassis and had all of the outer panels and interior removed. Any corrosion on the vehicle was fully cut out and repaired.The bodyshell was then stripped back to bare steel underneath. The full shell was rust treated, re-seam sealed then repainted in Plymouth Blue.
The finish underneath is as good as the paintwork on top! Next the rolling chassis was fully stripped as where the axles. These where all de-rusted, epoxy primed and top coated in black. Replacement genuine steel fuel lines fitted, new fuel pump, and much more.
The braking system underwent a full overhaul. New Brake Discs, Pads, Callipers where fitted.
Front axle received new swivel housings and all associated seals. The Full suspension system was refurbished, this included replacement Air Compressor, 4 x Dunlop Air Bags, New Shockers and all of the suspension bushes where replaced. The shell was refitted to the bodyshell using new mounting rubbers. The refurbished shell was then dressed with freshly painted body panels and doors.Inside the interior received a deep clean, all of the leather was cleaned, fed and treated. The headliner was recovered, and the walnut trim was re lacquered. The gearbox is in superb condition and was treated to a full change of fluids and replacement automatic gearbox filter kit. The engine was also in very good condition and needed very little attention.
The top end of the engine was stripped purely to check the overall condition which was found to be tip top. The engine was put back together with all new gaskets as required. This is a one-off chance to acquire a truly exceptional Range Rover! The vehicle will be supplied with a full 12 months MOT.
